1 July marks another significant milestone for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). This year, the SAF Day Combined Rededication Ceremony 2026 was held at Marina Bay Financial Centre, bringing together servicemen and servicewomen to reaffirm their commitment to defending Singapore with honour, professionalism, and dedication.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies; Mr. Mark Lee, Vice Chairman of the Singapore Business Federation; and Ms. Tan Su Shan, CEO and Director of DBS Group. In their addresses, the Guests of Honour emphasised the importance of National Defence and the collective responsibility shared by the SAF, businesses, and the wider community in ensuring Singapore's continued peace and security.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the collective recitation of the National Pledge and the SAF Pledge, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The unified voices of the attendees reflected the strong spirit of camaraderie, resilience, and shared purpose that defines the Singapore Armed Forces.

The event concluded with a networking reception, providing attendees with the opportunity to connect, foster new relationships, and strengthen partnerships in support of Singapore's Total Defence efforts.
