Trainer's Safety Day

7th August 2026

On 7 Aug 26, Trainer’s Safety Day was held at Block 1, Kaki Bukit Camp, DTSS Hall 1. It was a dedicated day for Management to pause training operations and focus on promoting safety awareness, reinforcing safe practices, and emphasising the importance of safety throughout our training operations. Additionally, to recognise and appreciate the vital role that the Trainers play in ensuring riding and driving safety are conducted safely as well as to achieve the training standards and objectives.

The programme started with HTF Richard’s opening address, in which he highlighted that we were performing well in meeting the Project’s contractual obligations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Moving forward, HTF encouraged the Operations Team to overcome the challenges associated with the increased Class 4 intake capacity by working together as a team in the spirit of “Unity as One”. He concluded by expressing his dream for eLC to be awarded another 10-year Contract.

COO William Lim’s engagement session with the Trainers demonstrated Management’s commitment to listening to and caring for our Trainers. The session provided an opportunity to build mutual respect, strengthen trust and relationships, and instil confidence in our Trainers to perform their duties professionally.

The “Believe” speech video clip from Ted Lasso was presented to illustrate how believing in one another within the Company forms the foundation for trust, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose. It fosters a sense of belonging, enhances team dynamics, and promotes individual and collective growth.

In conclusion, COO made four commitments to build trust, provide stability, support personal growth, and help us achieve our long-term goals:

a. Maintaining confidence in this team.
b. Keeping an open channel for feedback.
c. Upholding our standards – Hotel Coca-Cola branding.
d. Raising the bar together on our attitude and mindset.
