Every year, Trivantis organises Lectora User Conference and this year, a eLC team of 3, Vera, Melissa and Nang have the opportunity to attend along with many other e-Learning professionals from all around the world who shared trends, best practices and e-Learning experiences at this conference.
The conference was held in Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel in the heart of Chicago, from the 22nd and 24th of May. In this conference, we had the opportunity to discover information and insights from many e-Learning thought-leaders, several break-out sessions conducted by e-Learning gurus on an array of topics, and unique networking opportunities with other industry professionals to share best practices and expertise.

At the end of Day 2, Erik Wahl, both an artist and author, gave a great presentation. Not only was he a great speaker; he was also an amazing artist and business strategist who is inspiring and exhilarating. He inspired conference attendees to push beyond their status and think out of the box by igniting their own creativity.
"Erik Wahl is truly an inspiration. He is not only an amazing artist but a speaker who knows how to engage his crowds and turn the session into such an interesting and enjoyable experience. It is definitely one of the best sessions during LUC this year." commented by Vera Hermawan, Multimedia Designer, eLC.

During the 3-days conference, each of us attended different sessions to learn more from the experts on how we can maximise the usage of Trivantis products like Snap! Empower, Flypaper, ReviewLink, and Lectora Inspire to create more engaging, interactive and creative coursewares.
"I now know that Lectora can actually integrate Google docs which capture information with just a few clicks and configuration. That's so cool!" shared by Melissa Ooi, Consultant, eLC.

On Day 3, Trivantis introduces the new interface and design of Lectora Version 11 that enhances the powerful e-Learning authoring tool with its sleek, easy-to-use features that make course development even faster and easier.
The reactions from the audiences were extremely marvellous. They were happy with the features that were enhanced like the changing of themes, viewing the pages via the Thumbnail View, adding of library character images etc. There are many more features in Lectora Version 11 and I can't wait to do the BETA testing!

At the end of the event, we were gathered together at the Willis Tower on the 99th storey for the closing ceremony. The view up there was magnificent as the entire Chicago city was beneath our feet. It was a fantastic evening with great food, music and networking at the Skydeck of Chicago.
