This year, the annual Lectora Competition Awards Ceremony will be held on the 22nd of January 2010 in the Intercontinental Hotel. Over and above the usual categories of prizes, eLC will be sponsoring 2 winners (one from Open Category and the other from Academic Category for the Best Gold Award Entry) to the 2010 Lectora User Conference, held annually in the United States. The sponsored seats (each worth a total of SGD 5,000) will include the following:

A round trip air ticket to USA

Hotel stay for the duration of the User Conference

Conference Registration Fee for the Lectora User Conference

With the sponsored trip, eLC hopes to let the winners experience and see what other elearning practitioners in the world are using Lectora for, hence broadening their perspectives and giving them new ideas for elearning initiatives in their own organisation.

The two sponsored trip will be awarded to:

1 X Seat from the winning team/ individual in the Open Category

1 X Seat for the Teacher of the winning team from the Academic Category

Other than the sponsored trips, entries from both Open and Academic Categories are still eligible for the following awards in either the Best Instructional Design or Best Use of Multimedia:

Gold Award: Plaque plus cash prize of SGD$800

Silver Award: Plaque plus cash prize of SGD$400

Bronze Award: Plaque plus cash prize of SGD$200
