In the week of 23rd March 09, our partners from KMW, Mr Christian Muggenthaler and Mr Christian Hartel were in attendance at the annual meeting held in Singapore for our existing content development project. Besides discussion on the project´s progress, there were opportunities to meet up with the training cohort from SAF, learnt more about each other´s working practice, and also gained first-hand experience on eLC´s process methodology. For example, how a review meeting (Instructor Try-Out/Student Group Try-Out) on a developed courseware is conducted and its feedback collected for follow-up. On the overall, the week was packed with numerous meetings and visits and these were made possible with the gracious hosting by DSTA, Armour and OETI throughout the week to ensure a fruitful visit for our guests.
After working hard, as always for eLCians, playing hard is next on the agenda. Every night in the week was packed with either food challenges or fun activities for our sporting guests. Ranging from local spicy delicacies, whether it is Chili Crabs or Indian Curries, to the King of Fruits i.e. Durian, our guests were gamed to try it. We even managed to squeeze in an evening where we brought our guests to experience the ambience of Zouk´s Mambo Jumbo.
Overall, these visits continued the successful tradition of achieving intended objectives as progress was gained, outstanding issues were resolved and relations strengthen between our SAF clients, eLC and KMW.
