In the spirit of sharing and learning, eLC participated in the eLearning Guild´s Annual Gathering of its members as an exhibitor this year, and having our very own Senior Consultant, Eugene Ng, active as a speaker at the conference.
The focus of the conference was to help create value for all participants through the integration of emerging technologies with learning initiatives.
The eLearning Guild boasts a strong membership of 34,874 members worldwide, with a majority of its members coming from the Instructional Design and the eLearning tool/service provider industry. This year, the conference attracted over 1000 participants and 50-plus exhibitors.
Despite the gloomy economy, the weather at Orlando was sunshine perfect, and the event was buzzing with actions around the conference rooms, workshops and expo halls. The literally red-hot eLC booth (pun intended) attracted a constant stream of visitors, whom demonstrated great interest in our capabilities and queried on the services that we offer. The eLC team came prepared to showcase our excellent work and was immersed in discussions throughout the days. Our takeaway kits, which include notepads, funny pens, brochures and CD-ROMs detailing our products and services, were also eagerly snapped up. First impression impresses, checked. Last impression lasts, checked!
In addition, our speaker at the conference, Eugene Ng, garnered much praise from the participants for his informative presentation. Eugene´s topic was Get Dressed for Success - Onscreen Aesthetics for your Courseware which provided relevant takeaway learning and tips for the participants to improve their own courseware designs.
Overall, eLC successfully made our presence known at the event and more importantly, made connections with our peers in the industry. It was also a great opportunity to touch base with our US partner and main sponsor of the event, Trivantis Corporation, resulting in a memorable trip.
The eye-catching booth highlighted our professional services.
These takeaway kits were quickly snapped up.
