eLC Pte Ltd joined more than 500 Operationally Ready National Servicemen (ORNSmen) from 450 companies and their employers at Fairmont Ballroom, Raffles City Convention Centre for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Day Rededication Ceremony on 2 July 2012 in display of our commitment to the defence of Singapore.
We have been actively supporting the NS Community and playing its part for total defence for many years. Being a Minister for Defence Awards (MiDAs) League Member since 2010 is an exemplary testament of our commitment.
Echoing this stance, 3SG(NS) Han Yong commended: "While ORNSmen like myself will like to do our part for the nation, we need the understanding of our employers and family members for us to duly discharge our duties and I am glad to be with one such understanding employer"
Inaugurated in 2005, the Minister for Defence Award (MiDAs) League was introduced to accord prestige and significance to the recipients of the Minister for Defence Award. League members are viewed as MINDEF/SAF's role models for other companies to emulate and serve as advocates for employer and CR owner support for national defence.
