Gong Xi Fa Cai!
To welcome the year of the Dragon, we held our traditional Chinese New Year (CNY) Reunion Dinner at Temasek Club on 17th Jan 2012. It is not often that we get to meet and mingle with all the members of the family, and we look forward to a night of fun and feast. A picture tells a thousand words and so the story unfolds.

But quickly move on to the introduction of new colleagues whom surprised us with their wit and talent and add much laughter to the evening.

What is CNY without Yu Sheng/Lo Hei to start the year with good tidings...
Followed by lots of glorious food with auspicious meanings...
And drinks galore whether senior or junior, man or woman...toasting one another's health and happiness.
Do not forget it is also the time to collect extra hongbao i.e. our Health Incentive (reward for being a Healthy Baby all year round) which is the icing on the cake of an already wonderful evening.
With the finale of a goodie bag containing well-wishing mandarin oranges and a chance to be a millionaire (Toto tickets) from our CEO.
Throughout the reunion, there were also lots of spontaneous performance by our members; a half-naked duet by our POWERdrive colleagues, dances and stand-up comedy acts and more as everyone set out to have a great time. The spirit of camaraderie is at a all-time high!
As the evening draws to a close, Justin Chen, Consultant on the BD Defence Team, summarises it well, "Huat ah!"
