Lectora User Conference

12th May 2011

2011 Lectora User Conference here we come! Together with Huey Chin, Deputy Head Business Development (Corporate), and the 2 Lectora winners, Miss Chee and Mr Johnny, we travelled from Singapore and across the world to Cincinnati for the conference held May 10-12.

We were invited for the welcoming dinner at one of the famous aquariums in Cincinnati and were warmly received by the staff from Trivantis, such as Mr Lance Healy, International Account Manager, and Mr Eric Schuermann, Director of International Sales. The next day, the event was officially kicked off by Mr Charles J. Beech, Chairman and CEO of Trivantis, whom introduced the various keynote speakers such as the highly renowned speaker and trainer, Mr Elliott Masie and also shared with us their latest amazing products!

The annual conference is a sharing session for Lectora users all over the world and it was interesting to see how others use Lectora. This year we participated as one of the Presenters and shared with the audience on the various games that eLC created easily with Lectora like ELC Bingo, Spot the Difference, and etc. They were impressed with the creativity shown and the demonstrative CDs we prepared were quickly snapped up after the presentation.

It was an eye-opener for Bandley Lee, POWERdrive Instructor, as he gave his thoughts on the conference. "From the trip itself, I understand how important elearning is and its impact on the training experience we are providing to our clients. Keeping ourselves updated and implementing enhancements to the learning experience ultimately makes us more effective in the delivery of our work and I am glad that I had this learning opportunity".
