Gong Xi Fa Cai!
As per tradition, eLC celebrated the Lunar New Year of the Tiger with a Reunion Lunch on 12th February, as a good start invites good tidings. According to general Asian Astrology, the Tiger is seen as a symbol of strength and power with characteristics such as fearlessness and courage.
"We hope that both the eLC and the POWERdrive staff would face the challenges in the year ahead with the same positive attitude and forge new frontiers and greater heights!" as shared by our CEO, Mr William Chua during his impassioned speech.
Once everyone received their big hongbaos and well-wishing mandarin oranges from William, we kicked off the sumptuous lunch with Yu Sheng/Lo Hei which was tossed up high on all the six tables. Throughout the reunion, there were also lots of spontaneous singing and toasting as everyone set out to have a great time. The spirit of camaraderie and fellowship was clearly evident as everyone partook of the filling eight-course lunch and drank to their hearts´ content.
After the last morsel was consumed, the last drop of wine drained, and everyone´s stomach full, we cheered the happy news of the half-day off our CEO graciously gave us and end the lunch on a high note. That said, we envision riding on the strides of the Tiger to a roaring success in the year ahead! Cheers!
