Armour Family Day

23rd January 2010

On 23rd January 2010, the SAF Armour Formation gathered together to celebrate the Armour Family Day. It was a joyful day with lots of fun activities organised for family members of the Armour Formation, such as adventure rides, flying fox, paintball wars, games stations, food stalls, performances, etc. This event aims to promote cohesion amongst the family members of Armour´s personnel and it definitely went down well with everyone. Just look at the pictures!

As one of the main elearning content developer for the Armour Formation, eLC was honoured to be part of making the event a successful one by providing various Lectora-based mini-games, and the eLC version of Command and Conquer, "Leopard Command Centre" for the participants to enjoy. Crowds of both players and spectators are seen gathering in front of the game stations, trying their very best to beat the games, outwit each other, and win the prizes.

The Armour POWERdrive Team, being the first integrated workforce of the Armour Formation, was also a proud contributor of the event, both in conducting the ´A´ vehicle driving segment and in sponsoring door gifts to provide a memorable take-away. Family members and friends are able to experience adventurous rides on three different platforms which consist of the Bronco, Ultra and Bionix.

At the end of the event, Chief Armour Officer, COL Benedict Lim, presented eLC and Armour POWERdrive Team with a plaque each in appreciation for the contribution in the successful conduct of Armour Family Day. Following this win-win strategy, we believe, the cooperation between eLC and Armour will continuously be sustained and satisfied on both sides in the future.
