eLC Dance & Dinner New Year's Eve Countdown Party

1st January 2010

It´s time for CELEBRATION!! Throughout the years in eLC, it has always been a tradition to countdown to the New Year together on every New Year´s Eve. In order to accommodate the rapid growth of the eLC family which has doubled over the past year, for the first time, the Annual Dinner and Dance event was organised in-house by the eLC POWERdrive Team at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore.

That night, all of the eLCians and guests looked fabulous in their attires as they came dressed according to the theme of the event —"Dress to the Nines". The event commenced with Shandy introducing the special emcee of the night, a.k.a. the spirit and soul of eLC parties, CEO—Mr William Chua. As you can imagine, games galore; hula-hoop challenges for kids, guess the song titles, beauty contest among the ladies, a lucky draw that was full of prizes from our own wish list. You named it, we played it! It was definitely an enjoyable programme full of laughter and joy.

As the time flew past and the night approached its climax, excitement filled the room. With everyone´s attention on him, William enthusiastically led everyone in the 10 seconds countdown, "10! Nine...Three! Two! ONE! Happy New Year!". Well-wishes rang out from all quarters as people shouted, hugged, and shook hands with each other. You can see champagne splattering, balloons flying, and party spray sprinkling in the air.

"It was an engaging party that really showed the eLC spirit. It brought everyone closer like a big family." said Vera, one of the "beauty contestants", Multimedia Designer in eLC.

For some, this event might be just a flip of the calendar but for eLCians, it marks the positive beginning of another year in our future.
