A historical milestone was marked for SAF ARMOUR on 25th November 2009. The first ever Integrated Work Force (IWF) was announced in partnership with SAF ARMOUR and the POWERdrive Team as they have successfully attained the relevant training certifications.
"As SAF progresses into the 3G Technology, partnerships will be forged and we will work together, hand in hand, as partners with our first IWF in SAF ARMOUR", said Col Lam Pei Sien, Commander, ARMOUR TRAINING INSTITUTE, at the presentation.

After the speech, certificates were presented to the pioneers; the 16 newly-appointed POWERdrive Instructors in the presence of COL(NS) Alex Teo (SVP, STK) and COL(NS) William Chua (CEO, eLC Pte Ltd).

Henceforth, the POWERdrive Team will commence their first training in ARMOUR. As an IWF, besides bringing on board new learning solutions and/or technologies into the SAF context, they will also continue to undergo different types of training to hone their skills and knowledge for the on-coming courses that SAF provided, ensuring that present and future trainees will always have the best of "both worlds".
