Today, a total of 18 NSmen from eLC Pte Ltd participated in the SAF 2009 Rededication Ceremony East Zone on the 1st July 2009 at Temasek Polytechnic. For the second consecutive year, eLC was awarded the Certification of Appreciation. The award is to recognise the company efforts in supporting our NS activities over the years. Gracing the event was Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Foreign Affair, Mr Raymond Lim and Chief of Army MG Neo Kian Hong.

eLC have also publicly Pledged their Declaration of Support towards National Defence in The Employers´ Website.
It is important for employers to show their support towards NSmen because not only do they need to rearrange their work commitments, they also sacrifice their family times. Especially during the current challenging economical climate, this reassurance from employers is even more important. The spirit of unity and solidarity will enable us to overcome any difficulties and come out stronger.
LTA(NS) Alex Sze commented,"I personally feel that having a rededication ceremony on the SAF Day is very significant. It constantly reminds me of the National Defence and its importance. My family and employer greatly support me in my National Defence duties and this gives me no worries in both my work and family. Indeed from the pledge, I will defend Singapore with my life."
All guest receive a goodie bag in appreciation for their participation in the Rededication Ceremony.
