It was party time for all eLCians when computers and notebooks were traded for pomp and fashion as the family counted down to 2009 in style. The venue was Grand Copthorne Hotel and the event was organised by Temasek Club. With the numbers within eLC continuously growing, 6 tables were reserved to accommodate the employees as well as their loved ones.
It was certainly an occasion to remember as everyone had a good time wining and dining while enjoying the entertainment and games that were impeccably co-ordinated by the host of the night. Never to shy away from a challenge, eLCians were at the forefront of all the activities organised, with their infectious laughter and cheerful demeanour adding to the happy occasion.
The finale was most memorable as everyone joined in to countdown to 2009, wishing each other well as the New Year was ushered in with noisemakers, party poppers and (of course) champagne. It was also a chance for everyone to let their hair down and dance the night away. No one was excluded, not even the children.
The celebration was certainly a good start to the year and a good start for eLC in 2009.
