Face-to-face interaction between eLC and KMW (5 - 11 October)

5th October 2008

An eLC Team comprising 6 members including, the Boss himself went for a trip to Munich, Germany on October 5, 2008 to have a week of face-to-face interaction and meetings with SMEs at KMW and the project management team from DSTA. The objectives of this trip were mainly to allow the eLC Team a first-hand experience of the training conducted in Germany and provide an excellent opportunity for cross cultural and information exchange. It was a hearty experience to have a feel of the German´s work customs and this visit had brought the three groups closer together. As always, the eLC culture of "work hard, play hard" prevailed with members working late into the wee hours of the morning after many sumptuous dinners at Hotel Aurora, Hofbräuhaus, Augustiner Bräu Műndhen, and Vinothek Steirer. That was not all. eLCians would never fail to have a sip of those German wine and beer to end the challenging day. "Never in my life have I drank so much beer and yet be sober for the next working day", says Huey Chin, Consultant.

The working trip ended with a day visit to the City of Munich and a tour of the famous Schloss Neuschwanstein (Castle) that we always remember seeing in the Walt Disney clip. "It has been a wonderful learning trip for me and now I can help the company to accomplish the project better", says Jhoanna, Consultant.

Nevertheless, it was an exceptional experience for the group to personally meet and chill out with the KMW guys. Danke Schön!
