eLC, a leading eLearning company in Singapore, continued to work hand-in-hand with KMW, a leading company in the defense industry, whom is the manufacturer behind our latest imports. Not to be beaten by our motley crew from Multimedia Team, the crew from Simulation Team had the opportunity this February to learn more from the experts in KMW too.
Team members from the simulation team of eLC were in Germany to continue their training to support the Leopard simulators. eLC have been awarded the first level support for Warranty & Maintenance contract by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) for the Leopard simulators provided by KMW to the Singapore Armed Forces.
The week long training was conducted in Munich and led by two training &simulation staff of KMW. The eLC team were given an in-depth understanding of the simulators and how best to identify and resolve potential issues. It was a good collaboration with both parties exchanging ideas and discussing various scenarios to gain greater insight and knowledge.
But it definitely wasn´t ´all´ hard work as we took the time to see the sights and taste the food (not forgetting the beer, after all this is where Oktoberfest takes place annually) that is so famous in Munich. While photo-taking was understandably disallowed within the premises of KMW, there was nothing to stop us from snapping away in the country-side. And so we bid "Servus" (that's goodbye) to our counterparts in Munich, thanking them for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
