eLC Awarded eLearning Systems Integration and Content Development Contract from Police Coast Guards (PCG)

26th February 2004

eLC, a leading eLearning service provider in Singapore with core competencies in customised eLearning content development and solutions to enable organisations to develop and deploy their own "e" content, has been awarded a half-million-dollar contract from PCG to supply, commission and test PCG´s computer-aided instruction system. This involves the integration of 24 titles of standards-based eLearning courseware designed and developed by eLC on Inchone´s Learning Management System.

"We are pleased to be awarded this contract," reported William Chua, Co-CEO of eLC. "With a very tight project timeline, teams from both organisations will have to work very closely together. This goes well with eLC´ philosophy of working with clients not as a vendor, but as a trusted partner."

When asked for a possible reason why PCG awarded the contract to eLC, Benson Soong, Co-CEO and CLO of eLC, responded: "We believe we won PCG over with our instructional design methodology and proven track record of ensuring that quality standards are adhered to, despite tight timelines."
